What height should I choose for my garden or poolside?

The 30" height is ideal for low path accents or where a subtle, ground-level glow is preferred. At 37–45" the Rigel reads as a considered landscape marker, while the 53" version makes a confident statement along a driveway, pool edge, or formal garden approach. Mixing heights in the same setting can also create an interesting layered rhythm.

Is the Rigel hardwired or solar-powered?

The Rigel is a hardwired bollard, designed for permanent installation with underground cable routing. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to ensure a clean, weatherproof connection. This makes it ideal for settings where a reliable, consistent light source is required night after night.

How weather-resistant is the Rigel?

Rated IP65, the Rigel is fully protected against dust ingress and sustained water jets, making it well suited to year-round outdoor use including poolside environments. The matte-black powder-coated aluminium finish is also resistant to corrosion and UV fading over time.

Is the warm white the only colour temperature available?

Yes. The Rigel is available in Warm White 3000K only. This is a deliberate choice: 3000K delivers a soft, flattering glow that enhances the natural tones of planting, stone, and timber, keeping the garden atmosphere calm and inviting rather than starkly lit.

Can the Rigel be used alongside a dimmer switch?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific driver and any external dimmer switch in your circuit. Please refer to the Specs tab for driver information, and confirm compatibility with your electrician before installation if dimming is important to you.
