Good to Know
What are the two height options and how do I choose between them?
The Pharos is available in 30" and 49". The shorter post works beautifully as a low accent along a border or path edge, while the 49" height reads as a proper architectural landmark. Ideal for framing a driveway entrance or marking a garden boundary with more presence.
Which light colour should I choose. Warm White 3000K or Cool White 6000K?
Warm White 3000K casts a soft, amber-toned glow that flatters stone, planting, and timber, the natural choice for most residential gardens. Cool White 6000K is a crisper, more contemporary tone that suits minimalist or industrial settings and is particularly effective when a sharper contrast is desired after dark.
Is the Pharos hardwired or does it use a plug?
The Pharos is a hardwired fixture designed for permanent installation in the garden. We recommend connecting it through a qualified electrician, particularly as the cable will typically be routed underground to keep the setting clean and uncluttered.
How weather-resistant is the Pharos and can it be left out year-round?
Yes. The Pharos is rated IP65, which means it is fully protected against dust ingress and sustained water jets. Cast aluminium is inherently resistant to corrosion, so it is well suited to year-round outdoor use in all typical climates.
Are the LEDs dimmable and what is the expected lifespan?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the driver and any existing external dimmer switch; please check the Specs tab for driver details. The integrated LEDs are rated for tens of thousands of hours of use, meaning you are unlikely to need to replace them for many years under normal conditions.
