No. The Petal Stool is a fixed-height, non-rotating seat. The steel base is static by design for stability.

Is assembly difficult?
No. The base screws into the seat plate with four bolts. Most customers complete it in under five minutes with the included tool.

Can it be used at a vanity or dressing table?
Yes. The seat height (approx. 18") suits standard vanity heights of 28–31". Its compact footprint keeps the area uncluttered.

Will the steel base scratch hardwood or polished stone floors?

The carbon steel base is powder-coated, but we recommend applying felt pads to the contact points if the stool will sit on delicate flooring surfaces. These are easy to source and simple to apply.
