What are the five style options and how do they differ?

The Marin comes in two formats: wall-mounted waterfall panels (31", 16", and 8") that fix to a fence, wall, or facade to wash it in rippling light; and freestanding garden posts (24" and 18") that stake into the ground along a path or in a planting bed. Both use the same rippled acrylic effect. The choice is simply about where you want the light to appear.

How does the ripple light effect actually work?

Behind the acrylic panel, which is hand-textured with a water-ripple surface pattern, a warm LED light source creates an effect of pooling and moving light that mimics the look of sunlight or lamplight reflected on gently flowing water. The effect is most pronounced on adjacent walls and paving.

Does the Marin require any installation beyond placing or mounting it?

The garden post versions require only pressing the ground stake into soil, no tools, no cables, no electrician. The wall-mounted versions require fixing to a wall surface (typically with the included fixings) but no electrical connection, as both formats are solar-powered. The process is straightforward and requires only basic DIY confidence.

Is the Marin weatherproof and can it stay out in winter?

Yes. The brushed stainless steel body is rated IP65, offering complete protection against dust and sustained water jets. It is designed for year-round outdoor use and will hold both its finish and its solar performance reliably through wet and cold conditions.

How long will the Marin run on a full solar charge?

Runtime depends on sunlight exposure during the day. After a full day of good direct sun, the Marin will typically provide several hours of ambient illumination through the evening. On shorter or overcast days performance will be reduced, as is standard for any solar-powered outdoor light.
