What is the Elowen made from?
Cast metal branches in polished gold or silver, each ending in clusters of faceted clear crystal droplets rather than moulded acrylic. The light source is an integrated LED.
How is the Elowen installed, and can the drop be adjusted?
It hangs on cable suspension with an adjustable drop, so the height can be set to your ceiling at installation. It is hardwired and should be fitted by a qualified electrician.
Are the crystals real, or acrylic?
Real faceted crystal. Each branch ends in clusters of clear crystal droplets, which is why the light breaks and scatters properly instead of simply glowing.
Are there separate bulbs to buy?
No. The light source is an integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to fit or replace. The fixture runs on 90 to 260 V, so it works with standard supplies in the US and internationally.
Which diameter should I choose?
A useful rule: add the room's length and width in feet, and the sum in inches is a sensible diameter. A reading corner suits the 46 or 24"; a dining table takes the 76 or 39"; the 47" is for a stairwell or a room with real height.

A very beautiful chandelier. It’s well made, and what was important to me is that there are no visible solder marks—everything is very neat. The only thing is that it isn’t very bright, but for me that’s more of a plus than a minus since it isn’t the only light source. Delivery took a long time and was 10 days later than promised.
