Good to Know
Which length should I choose for my wall or entrance?
The 20" sconce is a refined accent for a door surround, narrow porch pillar, or any space where proportion calls for restraint. At 28" it commands more presence and suits wider facades or garden walls with more vertical room. The 39" column makes a bold architectural statement. Ideal for feature walls, gate piers, or contemporary villa entrances where scale matters.
Which light colour is better. Warm White 3000K or Cool White 6000K?
Warm White 3000K passes through the imitation marble to produce a soft, amber-toned glow that enhances the stone-like quality of the material. The most popular choice for entrances and terraces. Cool White 6000K creates a crisper, more clinical effect through the same diffuser, better suited to very modern or industrial settings where a sharper contrast is preferred.
Is the marble effect real stone, and how durable is it outdoors?
The Cygnus uses high-quality imitation marble. A translucent composite material chosen specifically for its ability to diffuse light in a way that natural stone cannot while remaining lightweight and weather-resistant. Sealed to IP65, it will not crack, stain, or discolour under typical outdoor conditions.
How is the Cygnus installed, does it require an electrician?
The Cygnus is a hardwired wall-mounted fixture. It connects to your existing outdoor wiring and should be installed by a qualified electrician to ensure a weatherproof, code-compliant connection. The mounting plate and fixings are included.
Is the Cygnus compatible with a dimmer switch?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific LED driver and any external dimmer switch in your circuit. Please refer to the Specs tab for driver details and confirm compatibility with your electrician before installation if dimming control is important to your setup.
