Good to Know
Does the clock mechanism require batteries, and are they included?
Yes. The analogue clock mechanism is battery powered and batteries are included with your order. The LED backlight section is plug-in and operates separately from the clock battery.
Does the LED backlight need to be plugged in at all times?
The LED backlight requires a mains connection (110–220V plug-in). The clock itself will continue to show the correct time via batteries even when the LEDs are switched off or unplugged.
How does installation work?
The panel hangs from wall fixings. A nail-free adhesive hook suits most painted drywall surfaces; an expansion screw (requires pre-drilling) is recommended for textured paint or masonry walls. An installation guide with clear steps is included in the box.
Can I control only the LED brightness, or are there multiple lighting modes?
The remote control allows you to adjust brightness levels and switch between lighting modes. The exact number of modes is determined by the LED driver built into the panel; the remote included with your unit provides full access to all available settings.
Is the Ciran Wall Clock suitable for a bedroom?
Yes. The dimmable LED backlight can be lowered to a very gentle glow for bedside use, and the needle display avoids the digital blue-light associations of screen-based clocks. Many customers also use it in living rooms, hallways, and home offices.
