What is the difference between the Linear and Halo forms?
The Linear form is a slender horizontal bar, ideal above a dining table, kitchen island or console. The Halo is a suspended ring that reads beautifully in an entryway, stairwell or over a round table. Both share the same minimal profile and glare-free glow — it is purely a question of the shape that suits your space.
Can I change the colour of the light?
Yes, if you choose the 3-Colour Adjustable option. It shifts between warm white (3000K), neutral white (4500K) and cool white (6000K), so you can set a candle-warm mood for dinner or a brighter, crisper light for everyday use. The Warm White option stays at a fixed, restful 3000K.
Is it dimmable?
The 3-Colour Adjustable option includes step dimming via its controller. The fixed Warm White 3000K option is non-dimmable.
How is it installed?
Calix is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and suspended on adjustable cables, so the drop height can be tailored to your ceiling. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
Which size should I choose?
As a guide, the fixture should span roughly half to two-thirds the width of the table or surface below it. The 39–59" Linear bars suit longer tables and islands; the 60 and 39" Halo rings work well over round tables and in open entryways.
