Why you'll love it

What makes the Brae worth living with is the balance it strikes between comfort and restraint. The cushioned seat offers genuine softness for long dinners, while the clean-lined frame — solid wood meeting metal — keeps the look from feeling heavy. Choose a light grey or soft khaki for a room that breathes, or go dark grey and black for something more grounded. Assembly is straightforward, and the result is a chair that looks measured rather than assembled.

Fabric feels durable

Got the grey fabric version. Six weeks of kids at the table and it still wipes clean easily.

assembly took a while

Nice chairs once they're up. Took me about 25 minutes each to assemble, so plan an evening for a full set.

Legs needed adjusting

Good chairs overall. One leg was slightly shorter so I added a felt pad, now it sits level and sturdy.

Bigger than pictured

They're a bit wider than I expected, so six around our table is snug. Comfortable once seated though.

classy and comfortable

Ordered the leather version and it looks sharp around our table. The seat has proper cushioning, not just a thin pad.

Comfortable for hours

We sit through long dinners on these and nobody complains. The seat padding is thicker than it looks online.
